The college has learned of the passing of former retention specialist Ryan Stadler in Florida recently.
His obituary:
STADLER – Ryan C. Age 43, died October 23, 2016 at Royal Palm Beach, FL. Mr. Stadler, youngest of 7 children, was born April 19, 1973 in Buffalo NY. Ryan earned his Bachelor degree from SUNY Fredonia and his MS Ed from The College of St. Rose. Growing up in West Seneca, NY, he traveled extensively and worked in three National Parks. He worked as Retention Specialist at Hudson Valley Community College, The College of St. Rose and at Buffalo State College. He is the author of Living on Sugar Mountain. Mr. Stadler is survived by his personal hero and mother, Virginia Stadler and his loving daughter, Leah Rose Stadler. Further survived by sisters: Linda (Frank) Antonitto, Patricia Wolek, Kathleen (Edward) Eisenried, Barbara Stadler, Claudia (Greg) Smigelski and brother Lee (Traci) Stadler. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.Funeral details to be announced at a later date.
